As the owner and principal therapist of Goulburn Physiotherapy Centre, with over 17 years of clinical experience, I’ve had the ability to explore my passion for providing excellent Physiotherapy services and health advocacy in our community.

I am expertly trained in the areas of Lymphoedema, Women’s & Men’s Health and Paediatrics and I use a highly practiced level of technical and communication skills that I have learned throughout my career. This allows me to provide excellent care to your whole family, regardless of their stage in life, whether it be as a young infant, during pregnancy or later in life.

In my down time I love exercising, enjoying family time (and travel) and participating in community events.

Since joining the team in 2015, I continue to enjoy the opportunity to expand the scope of my practice, now including specialised management of Temporomandibular Joint (jaw) dysfunction, Lymphoedema (management of swelling) and spinal & peripheral joint pain. I am expertly trained in joint manipulations.

With a special interest in neuropathic and complex pain, I thrive on educating patients about pain and injury and how to manage their symptoms. I utilise a functional approach to movement in order to assist with manual handling training, the management of neck and back pain, sporting and soft tissue injuries. My work mates refer to me as the resident guru of respiratory conditions.

I love exploring our local bush tracks, seeing nature and cooking!

Through my love of gym-based strength training and AFL, I have developed extensive skills in the areas of tendon injury and pain management. Working closely with my patients, I seek to optimise their rehabilitation by combining the latest research with personal experience and a specialised knowledge of hydrotherapy exercise. This might be dealing with a long-term complaint, recovering from a workplace or sporting injury or as pre/post surgical management, for example.

If I’m not at work or the gym, you’ll find me catching up with friends, tending to my lawn or spending time with family.

Following my desire to become a Physiotherapist from a young age, I enjoy working with people everyday to help them achieve their goals and improve overall well being. I love learning more about how people tick, and in how many different ways we can assist people to improve their lives. Combining a hands-on approach with education on the latest in pain science and rehabilitation guidelines, my empathetic nature allows a two-way relationship for my patients to learn what they need as we achieve their goals.

Due to the very diverse range of conditions that we see, specialisation in the management of Men’s Health conditions, Hand Therapy and Splinting and Spinal Cord Injury, coupled with my own playing history, gives me the expert tools to assist a wider group of patients to assist our community.

I love my dogs, all things sport and would say that I’m a massive foodie. I have a passion for travelling the world with my wife, sharing foreign cuisines and culture and can’t wait for the next chapter to arrive..

With no shortage of passion for my profession, I am enthusiastic in assisting my patients to achieve their full potential. A recent love of all things gym and exercises has broadened my expertise in strength and conditioning to assist my patients from all walks of life, from your novice trainers, weekend warriors, or elite athletes. A speciality in the assessment and treatment of vertigo (dizziness) helps me to make significant changes to the quality of someone’s life, which is something that I cherish and explore through the management of a variety of neurological conditions.

Since joining the team, I have learned a wide range of treatment techniques to compliment my experience with taping and match-day sporting management. I love working within a team and pushing those around me to achieve their best potential.

If I’m not spending time with my much loved boys, I’m in the gym working hard.

They say that communication is key, and I’d agree. I am a quiet achiever and love communicating and collaborating with my patients and team to improve patient outcomes across the board. I have been an advocate for the use of the Get Back program to help reduce recurrent spinal pain and associated movement dysfunction in our community and use specialist training to develop ideal programs for our patients. Now the resident hydrotherapy guru, I run two sessions a week during which I assist patients from all walks of life to meet their rehabilitation goals.

An extensive caseload of NDIS clients has built my skills in working with my patients to develop long term exercises and rehabilitation programs to assist in improving mobility, managing pain and maintaining independence in daily activities.

I enjoy getting outdoors with my partner and our choccie lab ‘Bear’, good food and a lovely drop of wine!

Growing up in a high-level sporting environment has led me to develop a strong interest in the management of sporting conditions, throughout the lifetime of an athlete, incorporating comprehensive rehabilitation programs to go alongside game-day management, taping and acute injury management. Since starting at Goulburn Physiotherapy Centre, I have discovered a passion for the management of Women’s Health conditions, neurological rehabilitation, hand therapy and utilising specialist training in the use of the Get Back program to help reduce recurrent spinal pain and associated movement dysfunction.

I’m not shy of a challenge and enjoy working alongside my patients to achieve their desired outcomes. When I’m not at work or out with friends, you will find me trying to participate in whatever sport I can get my hands on!

Massage Therapist/Personal Trainer

As a remedial massage therapist with over 6 years experience, I have honed my skills in managing muscular conditions associated with sporting injuries, work related aches, pregnancy related pain and back and neck pain/headaches. I lean on my additional expertise as a qualified personal trainer to provide advice on exercises to strengthen and condition the whole body, improving posture, assisting weight loss and positively affecting overall wellbeing, utilising additional techniques such as taping or dry needling.

I am a strong believer in a healthy balance in our lives, enjoying a good mix of exercise, whether in the gym or running with my friends/husband, gardening and home time with my cats or social engagement and dancing!

I am a highly organised and passionate worker, aiming to ensure that our clients are made to feel welcome, treated respectfully and leave our clinic fully informed of anything I can help them with. I have excellent technology skills and am the resident IT guru.

When I’m not helping our clients at the reception, I am at home, caring for my fur babies and spending time with my partner. I also have a little side business of my own that keeps me busy!

Front Office Manager

Even when you don’t see my face in the clinic, as the Office Manager, I am constantly working away to ensure that the quality of service that we offer is the best it could be. I have been with Goulburn Physiotherapy Centre for over 7 years and have helped to steer the administration team to exceptional standards throughout this time. As the first point of contact for our services, my exceptional understanding of a variety of case types and presentations helps me guide you to the best suited practitioner for your needs.

In 2018 I was awarded an Excellence in Customer Service Award through the Goulburn Business Excellence Awards. When I’m not working, I’m busy in other roles with Relay for Life and local P&C commitments, or spending time with my beautiful family in all their pursuits.
